Glenn Lowenstein, PG, is the president at Terrain Solutions Inc. which was incorporated in 2001. He supervises company management and has over 30 years in the industry. The company is proud to have served clients such as Howard Hughes Corporation, the City of Houston General Service Department, the Houston Housing Authority, the City of Housing and Community Development Department, as well as dozens of banks, private developers, and law firms.
Mr. Lowenstein has a Bachelor of Science in Geology from Queens College in New York and a Master of Science in Geology from Texas A&M University. He has personally managed contracts with TXDOT, Metro, and San Antonio VIA as well as obtaining closure on complicated distressed properties involving Municipal Setting Designation, Voluntary Clean-up, Corrective Action, Innocent Owner Operator Programs, Texas Railroad Commission Voluntary Operator, Leaking Petroleum Storage Tank and Petroleum Storage Tank Programs. He has served as a Lead Investigator and Expert Witness in dozens of environmental cases.
Mr. Lowenstein is a licensed professional geoscientist with the state of Texas and a licensed Corrective Action Project Manager with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. He served as Chairman of the Houston Geological Society’s Environmental & Engineering Committee for seven years and is a recipient of the Houston Geological Society’s prestigious President’s Award. The Governor of Texas appointed Mr. Lowenstein to the Texas Board of Professional Geoscientists in 2005.
